Today is the last evening in Negril, tomorrow then starts a completely different kind of vacation, we check in on the AIDA to our first cruise through the Caribbean. Since the Internet is extremely overpriced there, I will certainly put the next few days no more article online.
After coffee and tea at our self-catering station, we head to Jenny’s for breakfast one last time today.
We use the day to catch up a little tan, so lie in the sun, read and relax.
There is a bar on our street that advertises, not immodestly, that it is one of the 10 best bars in the world, you must have a gorgeous view of the sunset, there is loud music and cliff jumpers. That’s what I want to check out tonight. At 16:45 it goes, our street is extremely full with buses and cars and all want to Ricks, an absolute tourist attraction, the huge parking lot is already full and at least 5 coaches are there, we decide to do without it and look for a restaurant that also has a great sea view.
In the “Horizon” across from Jenny’s we eat fish soup with loud Christmas music, and I a whole red snapper, Harry takes the fillet version, and a banana as well as papaya punch, all very tasty!
The sunset is not so spectacular because of the clouds, but the food is excellent!
We sit on the terrace for a long time and plan the check-in tomorrow as well as the delivery of the rental car. The first part of our vacation was very varied, more adventurous than expected, but we also got to know much more of the country and the people than would have been the case with a package vacation. Tomorrow starts the second part of our vacation, the almost “All Inclusive” vacation, I had not yet. Let’s see what we like better in the end, I think you can but hardly compare.
